What is SmartDetect-13? SmartDetect-13 is an advanced device that allows you to do attendance taking an accurate temperature screening without having your visitors to remove facial masks based on Facial recognition technology.
How does it work? SmartDetect-13 only requires to be plugged into a power outlet and Wi-Fi to operate. Once a person’s face is recognised it will match it with the pre-registered data for attendance taking and all of the data will be stored on a private cloud for security reason.
What happens if the Wi-Fi connection disconnects? The information will be stored in the hardware for a while and once it reconnects, it will automatically send the data into the cloud. We mitigate this by utilizing a combination of Microsoft Azure, OVH.
How Microsoft Azure works?
Microsoft Azure is a private and public cloud platform. You may be familiar with Azure services. But, how does it work?
Azure uses a technology known as virtualization, a priori, nothing new up to this point.
Virtualization separates the close coupling between a computer’s CPU or server and its operating system by means of an abstraction layer called a hypervisor. The hypervisor emulates all the functions of a real computer or server and its CPU in a virtual machine. You can run multiple virtual machines at the same time and each virtual machine can run any compatible operating system such as Windows or Linux.
Azure takes this virtualization technology and rethinks it on a massive scale in Microsoft data centres around the world.Emkey
The OVH anti-DDoS solution works based on several components, including the VAC. Before it vacuums up traffic, the traffic is analysed by our internal solutions which can trigger mitigation. As soon as mitigation is triggered, illegitimate traffic is then vacuumed up and sent to the VAC.
Why use SmartDetect-13? SmartDetect-13 is a quick and efficient way for you to do temperature screening together with attendance taking with minimal supervision required. It is a fully automated process so that you can save on resources.Emkey In the event of a high temperature, an alarm will sound so that you can take the appropriate measures in providing a safe environment for you and your team. Temperature taking is also accurate to +/- 0.1C from 1 metre away.
